Poor Cindarella

In this version of the Cinderella story, Betty is a poor young girl suffering from two repulsive stepsisters. Fortunately, Betty/Cinderella's fairy godmother helps her attend the prince's ball by giving her beautiful clothes, a carriage, and the traditional glass slippers. At midnight the girl flees away in haste, leaving her slipper behind. The prince, which is in love with Betty, starts looking for the girl whose foot would fit the slipper and finally finds his "poor Cinderella".
