Betty is swimming in the ocean when her inflatable rubber pony springs a leak. Freddie, who works as a lifequard, comes late for her rescue; the girl goes down and begins to imagine she's a mermaid. Betty meets the inhabitants of the undersea world and sings " I don't know where I am, but I would like to swim with Freddie". When a sea monster starts chasing her, Betty comes to herself, safe and sound in the arms of her boyfriend Fearless Freddie.
